The Blind Side
So I have finally managed to watch the Blind Side, a year and a bit to long later!
I was thoroughly pleased to find myself watching a funny, hearth wrenching and beautiful story.
Sandra Bullock steps out of her normal role into the serious role of Leigh Anne Touhy, which ended up winner her an Oscar for Best Actress.
Based on a true, driven from the 2006 novel by Michael Lewis, the Blind side maps the efforts of Leigh Touhy, wife of a hugely successful fast-food franchise owner, to make a difference and change a boy called Michaels life. Michael was brought up around drugs,, the ghetto and low expectations in life.
Leigh has a huge amount of goodness inside her, so when she sees Michael wondering the streets alone at night, and recognises him from her children’s Christian school where he was recently enrolled, she stops her car and inevitably changes his life from that moment on. In turn he changes the lives of everyone in the Touhy family for better or worse you will have to wait and see (that is if you have not already seen the film)
A gripping, enchanting and mesmerizing must see!
